A story began circulating late yesterday that Bob Barr will soon officially announce his candidacy for president, and that Ron Paul will endorse him. That story has now been picked up by the LA Times (among other, more dubious sources).
We know Dr. Paul said over and over he had no intention of making a third-party bid for president, but did he ever say anything about accepting a VP offer?

This "dubious" source seems to have an insecurity complex:
1. "I have been sitting on this story for 5 days at the request of a political colleague."
2. "A top Libertarian Party consultant from the South, known to this very Blog..."
3. "Meanwhile, CNN, who links to this Blog on a weekly basis as a political news source..."
People take this guy seriously?
